Cucumbers grown in sand – Hot House near Jodphur India

Hello friends,

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy reading my posts and recipes. I would like to share my achievement with you of becoming qualified in Commercial Cookery. I have been working towards this for some time and in early December 2018, I submitted my last assessment (my portfolio). It has been an exciting journey in achieving this result.

I received my results just before Christmas perfect timing to really get into relax mode and embrace the festivities, and let me say I did! It is now February and I am ready start getting back into writing and working on a variety of recipes for the up coming year.

I have been thinking and planning of how to approach this next phase. Many thoughts, ideas and goals have entered my mind however, one step at a time and small steps at that. Needless to say, I am not without work and my creative side has started to get back into the swing of things. I am looking forward to experimenting, cooking, presenting the dishes and of course sharing recipes.

I have always had a love for food and cooking. This love started from a very young age and now in my mid fifties I was able to return back to studying to obtain my qualification. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to do this. When I reflect back on the course I was one of the oldest in the class and my fellow students affectionately called me mum. I thoroughly embraced the studies, friendships I developed and experience.
